4 and 5 year olds

The maximum number of students in the Busy Lizards class is twenty and the class has a ratio of 1:10. The primary purpose of this program is to prepare children for
kindergarten. This class uses the Creative Curriculum as a basis for planning literacy, math, science,
and social studies experiences. Social skills and listening skills are also emphasized.

The Busy Lizards program also uses various activities that children begin to develop writing skills.
Weekly lesson plans are shared with parents to enable them to reinforce these concepts at home.
The Busy Lizards classroom is equipped with a tablet that provides memory games, simple decision
making concepts, shapes, colors, letters, etc. Students are allowed 15 minutes of screen time per
school day. Students attend Chapel weekly which is included in the tuition. Weekly fitness and music
classes are offered for a monthly extracurricular activity fee.
