First United Methodist Child Development Center is a 5-Star facility licensed by the state of North
Carolina. We provide a full-day program for working parents of children in our community. Our staff
members have the knowledge and experience necessary to offer age-appropriate activities while building the skills of the children in our care.
We are located in uptown Charlotte in the Fourth Ward area. Our mission is to provide top quality care on behalf of the families in our program. We accomplish this goal by employing quality educators that love children and value teaching and learning themselves. We strive to provide each child with a nurturing learning environment. Without dedicated employees, First United Methodist Child Development Center would be just another ordinary child care facility.
